This specification covers beryllium in the form of bar, rod, tubing, and shapes from beryllium powder consolidated by cold isostatic pressing (CIP) and sintering. These products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength-to-weight ratio and high modulus of elasticity, but usage is not limited to such applications.
