Sludge thickening facilities utilizing membrane filtration are able to stabilizethickening-sludge concentration, which means the load on the latter-stage dewateringprocess can be fixed, and can also obtain clear filtrated water without turbidity.Thickening performance on sludge (formed with Al coagulant) from existing purificationprocess by “Advanced treatment MAC 21” has already been evaluated.This research evaluates a high-efficiency purification process in anoverall system by examining the operating conditions and performance of “ACT21” underR&D that treat sludge (formed with Fe coagulant) generated from the process.
