Description
The phenomenon known as the glass ceiling has been studied extensively and avariety of statistics are available to illustrate the concept. However, what maybe more important than these numbers is to understand the factors associated withthe glass ceiling phenomenon. The water industry faces its own unique set ofproblems with respect to this issue. This paper discusses various factorsinfluencing women in the workplace and positive approaches to change. Specificstrategies for making these changes are also addressed. Includes 6 references, table.
