Description
Models that have been used to predict the expansion of filter media are evaluated and a new correlation that provides an alternative approach to predicting the velocity-voidage relationship of particularly fluidized systems is presented. Uses and limitations of the new correlation are discussed. Includes 20 references, tables, figures.
