Description
This paper describes how using automation can help utilities and state regulators keep up with the increasing demands set forth by the Federal Surface Water Treatment Rule. State regulators must review the monthly regulatory reports required by the rule, respond to violations or omissions indicated by the submitted data, and format their own report for the USEPA. The author discusses how a Superviory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and automating the CxT calculation can save time and increase productivity.
