With the advent of the microcomputer it is now possible for many small water utilities to develop and utilize hydraulic network models in their day-to-day planning and operational activities. The objective of this paper is to provide guidance to potential network model users with regard to the data requirements associated with such models as well as helpful hints with regard to model selection and potential use.
