This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the bay area utilities and regional collaboration. Key areas of collaboration are presented, along with system interties, emergency exercises, workforce planning, and a Water Research Foundation (WRF) project titled, “Bay Area Water Utilities Operations Collaborative:Model for Inter-regional Utility Cooperation” that had the following objectives: explore models of regional cooperation;identify key areas for cooperation;develop regional initiatives; and,develop a template for other utilities.
