This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of H2opportunity.net, a website developed by theGeorgia Association of Water Professionals, as anexcellent example of using Web 2.0 technology tocreate a vibrant recruiting tool. A recent study found that when companies want to recruitrecent graduates, an effective website is a key element. However, the research also found that fourcharacteristics had a negativeimpact on job seekers. An example is presented of the Portland Water Bureau using social media websites to recruit candidates for employment.
