Description

The objectives of this powerpoint presentation include: a look at the Detroit Water and SewerageDepartment 50-year Water Master Plan;present the Technical Advisory Committee(TAC) – the collaborative model for team work; and,present major accomplishments of TAC. The critical elements of theComprehensive WaterMaster Plan are provided, along with keys to sustainingthe master plan, the importance of customer involvement, TAC organization and information flow, TAC participants, customer outreach results, and a summary of the findings of a 2004 Customer Service Survey. A new agreement was made to develop a model contract that reflectsmodern operating, political, market,and environmental conditions. The three parts of the agreement are listed, along with TAC process metrics. Includes table, figures.
