This slide presentation begins by providing background information on the Calgary Regional Partnership (CRP), a regional inter-municipal associationincorporated in 2003 to facilitate co-operativepartnerships on common regional issueswhile maintaining community autonomy. Study objectives included: develop sustainable water andwastewater servicing solutions for the region; and,develop technical servicing options. Project drivers included: water availability and regional water crisis; shortage of qualified operators; and, growth. CRP sustainabilityframework is outlined, along with topics that include: Development of TBLDecision Framework; TBL Criteria – Environmental, social and economic; performance measures; Example: Security of Supply; decision framework; life-cycle cost estimates; water and wastewater alternatives; key outcomes – water, wastewater; and, TBL results.
